Pressure Points (1985)

This is the second live album, recorded on May 11th, 1984 at Hammersmith Odeon, London, barely a month after the release of Stationary Traveller. The songs are from their four immediately previous albums, plus the two favorite Rhayader pieces from The Snow Goose.

I don't have a lot to say about this album. It's good, solid Camel with mostly good choices to represent the previous studio albums. I wish they'd done "Cloak and Dagger Man" from Stationary Traveller instead of "West Berlin", but they picked the best selection from The Single Factor, "Sasquatch". The performances are very faithful to the originals, but nothing really stands out. There's nothing here that really makes me wish I had been at the actual concert (as opposed to the Snow Goose side of A Live Record; that's a concert I'd give a month's salary to have seen in person).
