Never Let Go (1993)

This is a live, 2 CD set. The first CD consists of a song or two from each of their first eight albums, in order. The second CD has a song from the ninth album plus "Lady Fantasy" from Mirage, the third time that this song has been included on a live album. Personally, I'm rather disappointed that there's nothing here from Stationary Traveller (I suspect it might be because of some legal problems, but that's just a guess).

The bulk of the second CD is a live version of Dust and Dreams in its entirety.

Overall, this is a very good album, especially if you like Dust and Dreams. "Never Let Go" (the song) starts out as a slow, acoustic version that, I think, just doesn't work; it's better when it picks up tempo (and goes electric) about halfway through. (Lest anyone start to think that I just don't like slow songs, I'll add that there's a really beautiful version of "Spirit of the Water" here.)
